These reclaimed handmade Staffordshire Blue roof tiles come from period properties across the Midlands and beyond. Made from local Etruria Marl and fired hard in traditional kilns, they have the deep blue-grey colour and dense surface that make Staffordshire Blue one of the most durable roofing materials available.
Being handmade, each tile varies slightly in shape, size and tone. That variation is what makes them blend so well on older roofs, listed buildings and conservation work. For a more regular roofline, see our machine-made Staffordshire Blue roof tiles.
